Calpe is equally located between Alicante & Valencia airports. About an hour from either airports in a transfer.
We recommend that our guests make arrangements to stay in Calpe for the wedding, as it will be the site of the pick-up and drop-off point for the transportation provided on the day of the event. However, we have also given information below on another area which is nearby, called Javea. This location is also gorgeous but as mentioned above, if you choose to stay in Javea, you will need to organise your own transport to/from the venue.
Calpe is a coastal town located in the province of Alicante, on the eastern coast of Spain. Known for its beautiful beaches and clear waters, Calpe is a popular tourist destination. The town is situated at the base of the iconic Peñón de Ifach, a large rock formation that towers over the town and can be climbed for panoramic views. Visitors to Calpe can also enjoy a variety of outdoor activities such as hiking, fishing, and water sports. The town also has a historic center with narrow streets and traditional architecture.
Getting to Calpe:
We suggest renting a car to fully explore the area, but if that is not an option, a standard taxi from the airport is 80€, but discounts may be available for larger groups. We can assist with researching transportation options. If you are interested in sharing a taxi with others, please let us know your flight details and we will try to connect you with other guests.
